Disney+ Hotstar is bringing Mohanlal-starrer Monster to digital audiences, with the Malayalam movie scheduled to start streaming from 2 December 2022. The Star Network acquired the satellite and digital streaming rights of the film following its theatrical release.
Directed by Vysakh and written by Udaykrishna, Monster marks another collaboration between Mohanlal, Vysakh and Udaykrishna after Pulimurugan. The film was released in theatres on 21 October 2022 and is now moving to its OTT window on Disney+ Hotstar.

Monster Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 2 December
2 December 2022 is the OTT release date of Monster on Disney+ Hotstar. The film arrives on the streaming platform after its theatrical release on 21 October.
The Star Network holds the satellite and digital rights of Monster, bringing the film into its Malayalam movie catalogue across television and OTT.
Disney+ Hotstar is also strengthening its Malayalam movie lineup for the festive season. Rorschach is among the recent Malayalam films added to the platform, while Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey is another major title scheduled for a December digital premiere.

Mohanlal plays the lead role in Monster, with the film bringing the actor back together with director Vysakh and writer Udaykrishna.
The cast also includes Honey Rose, Sudev Nair, Siddique, K.B. Ganesh Kumar, Lena, Kailash, Arjun Nandhakumar, Johny Antony, Idavela Babu, Nandu Pothuval, Biju Pappan, Swaisika, Sadhika Venugopal and Manju Satheesh.

Monster is another collaboration between Mohanlal, director Vysakh and writer Udaykrishna, the team behind Pulimurugan.
The movie is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas. Deepak Dev composed the music, while Satheesh Kurup handled the cinematography.
Following its cinema release, Monster is now reaching a wider audience through its digital premiere on Disney+ Hotstar.
Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey Coming to Disney+ Hotstar
Another Malayalam movie joining Disney+ Hotstar during December is Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey, starring Darshana Rajendran and Basil Joseph.
The film is scheduled to start digital streaming from 22 December 2022. This makes Monster and Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey two of the notable Malayalam titles in Disney+ Hotstar’s December lineup.

Malayalam cinema audiences can also expect more digital releases across other streaming platforms. Kooman, starring Asif Ali, Renji Panicker and Hannah Reji Koshy and directed by Jeethu Joseph, is among the movies heading to Amazon Prime Video.
