Malayalam actor Jayasurya is all set to headline an ambitious fantasy film titled Mayan – Chapter 1, directed by Jithin K. Jose, the filmmaker behind the blockbuster Kalankaval. The film, produced by Rajeev Govindan under the Magic Moon Productions banner, will officially begin shooting on August 12.
Announced last month, Mayan – Chapter 1 marks the third production from Magic Moon Productions, following the successful films Ordinary and Anarkali. The screenplay has been jointly written by Rafi and Jithin K. Jose.
