The first character poster of Krishand’s new film Masthishka Maranam; Simon’s Memories is out. The poster has been released introducing the characters of Jagadish and Suresh Krishna, who play crucial roles in the film. While Jagadish appears as Praveen Shashank, Suresh Krishna plays a character named Charlie. It is clear from the character poster that both of them are presented in the film in a mass and stylish look.
The film will hit theaters globally on February 27, 2026. The film is produced by Vinayaka Ajith under the banner of Ajith Vinayaka Films. The full title of the film is “Masthishka Maranam- A Frankenbiting of Simon’s Memories”. Written and directed by Krishand after the critically acclaimed films Aavasavyuham and Purush Pretham, this film is also a science fiction film in which Ajith Vinayaka Films and Krishand Films have come together after the film ‘Gaganachari’.
It is reported that the very different characters in the careers of Jagadish and Suresh Krishna will be presented in front of the audience through this film. It is being touted as a science fiction investigation comedy film set in the year 2046. The film is presented in the backdrop of the city of Kochi (Neo Kochi) in 2046. The film has been made in a way that gives great importance to VFX.
2 teasers of the film Masthishka Maranam have already been released and have received great attention, including on social media. The teasers show that the film has adopted a presentation style full of madness, incorporating science fiction in a local setting. It is also clear from this that the film, which maintains a futuristic neo-noir mood, has a visual language that is on par with international films. The songs in the film have also become super hits.
