Maharaja Hostel OTT Release on Sun NXT September 18 – This Week’s Streaming Updates on Prime Video, Netflix etc

Maharaja Hostel is the latest Malayalam movie joining Sun NXT, with streaming scheduled to begin on September 18, 2026. The film, which is already available on Prime Video, expands its digital availability with the Sun NXT release this week.

Directed by Charu Wakan, Maharaja Hostel stars Akhil NRD, Akhil Shah, Sharath Babu, Sajin Cherukayil, Sandeep SP, Ann Maria, Chithra Nair and Abhirami Girish among others.

The film is also available through aha Video in Tamil and Telugu, giving Maharaja Hostel a wider presence across streaming services and languages.

Maharaja Hostel on Sun NXT From September 18

Sun NXT will begin streaming Maharaja Hostel from September 18, 2026. The film has already been added to Prime Video, while Tamil and Telugu versions are available through aha Video.

The addition to Sun NXT gives Malayalam OTT viewers another platform to watch the film as part of this week’s new streaming lineup.

Maharaja Hostel features an ensemble cast led by Akhil NRD, Akhil Shah, Sharath Babu, Sajin Cherukayil, Sandeep SP, Ann Maria, Chithra Nair and Abhirami Girish.

Charu Wakan has handled the story, screenplay and direction of Maharaja Hostel.

The film is produced by Charvaka Brahmanapally, Karumuru Raghuramu, Rahul Mopidevi, Ramya Vemulapati and Sai Prakash Bhuvanagiri under the banners of Charuchithra Productions, Madhumitha Productions and Monsoon Tales.

Ashkar serves as executive producer and director of photography, while Aswin Ram composes the music. Editing is handled by Ashwamedh Studios.

Raja has written the dialogues, with Ashkar Ali, Raja and Amaan Mehar credited for additional screenplay. Shalini Nambu serves as creative producer and Sandeep Mantrala as line producer.

Vivaah Now Streaming on Sun NXT

Another recent addition to Sun NXT is Vivaah, which started streaming on the platform on September 11, 2026.

Directed by Blesson Elssa, the film stars Dhyan Sreenivasan, Abhishek Sreekumar, Dhruvan and Aneesh Gopal.

The ensemble also includes Sruthi Jayan, Naira Nihar, Archana Vivek and Nayana Elza.

Vivaah is produced by Selvam Ponnaiyan under the Selrin Productions banner. Abhishek Sreekumar handles the writing, while Arun Muraleedharan composes the music.

DC Available in Malayalam on Sun NXT

DC, featuring Lokesh Kanagaraj and Wamiqa Gabbi, started streaming on Sun NXT on September 4, 2026, with the film available in Malayalam.

Directed by Arun Matheswaran and produced by Sun Pictures, DC features music composed by Anirudh.

The film joins Vivaah and Maharaja Hostel among the recent movie additions available to Malayalam audiences through Sun NXT.

September 18 is also bringing several notable South Indian films to other major streaming platforms.

Modha Rathri and Irumudi are scheduled to begin streaming on Netflix, while Ram And Leela arrives on Prime Video. Vismaya Mohanlal’s Thudakkam begins streaming on JioHotstar on the same date.
