JioHotstar Started the Online Streaming of Lokah Movie from 31 October in Seven Indian Languages
75 Days Theater Run of Malayalam Movie Lokah Chapter 1 Chandra
Creating a new history in Malayalam cinema, Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films’ seventh film, “Lokah – Chapter One: Chandra“, has completed 75 days in theaters. A film that was a mega blockbuster hit even during its wide release has achieved a rare feat of completing 75 days in theaters. The film is still attracting audiences in theaters in the Gulf and in theaters including PVR multiplex screens in Kerala.

The film, which started streaming on JioHotstar on October 31, is also receiving a great response and reception from the audience on OTT. The film, which achieved record-breaking success in theaters, is also the first film in the history of Malayalam cinema to enter the 300 crore club. The film, which has become an industry hit in Malayalam, was written and directed by Dominic Arun.
Inspired by the legendary story of Kalliyankattu Neeli, which is part of Kerala’s history, the film stars Kalyani Priyadarshan and Naslen in the lead roles. The film is being streamed on OTT in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Marathi and Bengali. The film, which collected over 121 crores from Kerala alone, became the highest-grossing Malayalam film from India.
The film, which has an extraordinary production quality and making that rivals international films, is the first part of a five-part mega fantasy cinematic universe. Chandu Salimkumar, Arun Kurian, Sarath Sabha, Nishant Sagar, and Vijayaraghavan also played crucial roles in the film, along with Dulquer Salmaan and Tovino Thomas in guest roles. “Lokah” was released in Kerala as a big hit by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films.
“Lokah” became the most watched Malayalam film globally in the 21st century. The film, which became a pan-Indian hit, was a super success in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada languages besides Malayalam and became a trend setter in Indian cinema. Tovino Thomas is the hero in the second part of the film, “Lokah Chapter 2“.
