Asianet launched the tenth season of its popular Malayalam musical reality show Star Singer with a two-day Mega Launch Event. Star Singer Season 10 Mega Launch was scheduled for March 29 and March 30, Saturday and Sunday, at 7:00 PM on Asianet.
Following the Mega Launch, the regular episodes of Star Singer Season 10 started from April 5, with the show scheduled every Saturday and Sunday at 9:00 PM. The new season arrived with the tagline “Star Singer Season 10 – Kerala is Singing.”
Star Singer Season 10 – Launch Date and Telecast Time
More than 6,000 aspiring singers participated in auditions conducted across different parts of Kerala. From this large pool of talent, 35 singers were selected for the Mega Launch Event, which served as their final opportunity to secure a place in the main competition.

35 Contestants Selected for Star Singer Season 10 Mega Launch
The selection process for Star Singer Season 10 attracted more than 6,000 participants from different parts of Kerala.
After the auditions, 35 contestants were chosen to perform at the Mega Launch Event. This stage offered the selected singers their final opportunity to earn a place in the main Star Singer Season 10 competition.
The selection process continued the show’s tradition of finding promising singing talent and introducing new voices to Malayalam television audiences.
Star Singer Season 10 Judges
The Mega Launch Event was officially inaugurated with the ceremonial lamp lighting by celebrated music personalities Jerry Amaldev and Ouseppachan, along with renowned lyricist Shibu Chakravarthy.
The Season 10 judging panel featured some familiar and respected names from the Malayalam music industry — K.S. Chithra, Vidhu Prathap and Sithara.
Kishan Kumar, Channel Head of Asianet, was also present during the official inauguration of the new season.
Manju Warrier and Bhavana at the Mega Launch
Actresses Manju Warrier and Bhavana joined the Star Singer Season 10 Mega Launch as special guests, adding more star presence to the two-day event.
Mithun and Varsha handled the hosting duties, bringing together the performances and celebrations surrounding the launch of the tenth season.
Star Singer Season 10 Regular Episodes From April 5
After the special Mega Launch episodes on March 29 and March 30 at 7:00 PM, Asianet scheduled the regular episodes of Star Singer Season 10 from April 5.
The musical reality show was scheduled to air every Saturday and Sunday at 9:00 PM on Asianet, beginning the competitive journey of the contestants selected through the auditions and Mega Launch.
Star Singer Season 10 – Kerala is Singing
Asianet introduced the season with the tagline “Star Singer Season 10 – Kerala is Singing,” extending the musical celebrations beyond the television stage.
As part of the concept, coffee shops across Kerala were planned as spaces for music sessions, bringing together music and community while supporting the theme of the new season.
With a selection process involving more than 6,000 participants, 35 Mega Launch contestants and an established panel of singers and musicians, Star Singer Season 10 began another chapter in Asianet’s long-running Malayalam musical reality show.
