The global gross collection of the film in the first 3 days of its release is Rs 80 crores. The film, which received a great audience response, is also being praised by critics.
The film has also received a great reception in Kerala. Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films has brought the film to Kerala as a big release. The film has achieved the biggest box office opening of Dhanush’s career on the first day. The film earned a global gross of around Rs 30 crores on the first day, and entered the 50 crore club on the second day itself.
