The release date of Dulquer Salmaan’s ‘Kaantha‘ is out. The film will be released worldwide on November 14. Written and directed by Selvamani Selvaraj, the film is produced by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films and Rana Daggubati’s Spirit Media. The film is produced by Dulquer Salmaan, Jom Varghese, Rana Daggubati and Prashanth Potluri.

Selvamani Selvaraj is a Tamil director who gained attention for his Netflix documentary series ‘The Hunt for Veerappan’. The film tells the story of a big problem that occurs between two great artists. The film travels through love, ego, art and emotions.

The first look and teaser were released earlier. The updates of the film have received huge audience support. Kaantha’s story is presented in the backdrop of 1950s Madras. ‘Kantha’ is also the first foreign language film produced by Wayfarer Films, which has produced a handful of excellent films in Malayalam. This film, made in Tamil, will also be released in Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi languages. “Kaantha” is also the film in which Dulquer Salmaan will be playing the lead role after the blockbuster Telugu film Lucky Bhaskar.
