Dulquer Salmaan’s much-awaited Malayalam movie I’m Game has received a new worldwide release date. The big-budget fantasy thriller will now hit theatres globally on 3 September 2026. The film was earlier scheduled as an Onam release on 20 August 2026, but the makers have pushed the theatrical release by two weeks to prepare for a much wider global rollout.

Directed by Nahas Hidayath and produced by Dulquer Salmaan and Jom Varghese under the banner of Wayfarer Films, I’m Game is being mounted on a massive scale. The film is expected to be one of the biggest projects of Dulquer Salmaan’s career and will have a Pan-Indian release in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada.

I’m Game is directed by Nahas Hidayath, who previously directed the blockbuster Malayalam movie RDX. The screenplay has been jointly written by Sajeer Baba, Ismail Aboobacker and Bilal Moidu, while the dialogues are written by Sajeer Baba, Adarsh Sukumaran and Shabaz Rasheed.

The film is produced by Dulquer Salmaan and Jom Varghese under Wayfarer Films. It is also another major production from the banner following the mega-blockbuster success of Lokah.

With a large ensemble cast, extensive filming across South India and an ambitious multilingual release strategy, I’m Game is being positioned as one of Wayfarer Films’ biggest theatrical ventures.

The technical team includes Bibin Perumbilly as line producer and Jimshi Khalid as cinematographer. Jakes Bejoy handles the music, while Chaman Chakko is the editor. The action sequences are choreographed by Anbariv Masters.

Sujoy James and Devadevan serve as production heads, with Ajayan Chalissery handling production design. Ronex Xavier is in charge of makeup, while Mashar Hamsa handles costume design. Deepak Parameswaran is the production controller, and Rohit Chandrasekhar serves as associate director.

The songs are written by Manu Manjith and Vinayak Sasikumar. VFX is handled by Thoufeeq – Eggwhite, with poster design by Ten Point. Sync Cinema handles sound design, while Kannan Ganpat is responsible for sound mixing. SBK handles still photography, Vijith Viswanathan serves as marketing head, and Sabari is the PRO.
