Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8 witnessed an unexpected development on Day 2, with Gayathri Suresh becoming the first contestant to be evicted from the house. The Asianet reality show introduced a surprise mid-week eviction in which the housemates were asked to choose a contestant to leave the Bigg Boss house.
The final decision was handed over to the leader of the week, Jaseela Parveen, who selected Gayathri Suresh for eviction. Following the decision, Bigg Boss announced Gayathri’s exit from the house.
Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8 Day 2 Mid-Week Eviction
On Day 2, Bigg Boss asked all the housemates to gather in the special room called “Janasabha.” The contestants were then instructed to choose one housemate for eviction.
After the housemates took part in the process, Bigg Boss gave the final decision to Jaseela Parveen, the leader of the week. Jaseela chose Gayathri Suresh, following which Bigg Boss evicted Gayathri from the house.
The surprise eviction brought Gayathri Suresh’s Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8 journey to an early end.

Gayathri Suresh – A Short Profile
Gayathri Suresh was the first contestant introduced to the Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8 house by host Mohanlal during the launch of the new season.
Gayathri Suresh is a Malayalam actress and model who became widely known after winning the Miss Kerala 2014 title. She made her Malayalam film debut with Jamna Pyari, starring alongside Kunchacko Boban.
She subsequently appeared in Malayalam films including Oru Mexican Aparatha, Sakhavu, Naam and Children’s Park. Her entry into Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8 marked a new chapter in her television journey, but the surprise Day 2 eviction resulted in a very short stay inside the house.
Week 1 Nominations
Apart from the unexpected mid-week eviction, the first-week nomination process has also put several contestants in danger of eviction.
The contestants nominated for eviction in Week 1 are Noby Binu, Rini Ann George, Dhanya (Kaali), Rahul Easwar, Mohammed Azif, Shijin S, Sreeraj K S, Eldho George and Neha Fathima.

Gayathri Suresh entered Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8 as the first contestant introduced by Mohanlal, but her journey ended unexpectedly on Day 2 following the Janasabha eviction process.
