Three Different Stories in Destiny
The narrative of Destiny moves through three separate stories, each focusing on different characters and circumstances.
The first story follows CI Jayaseelan, a police officer who regrets the wrongdoings of his past. The narrative explores his state of mind and the emotional consequences of the actions that continue to trouble him.
The second story revolves around Narendranath, a poet and cultural activist whose family relationships have fallen apart. The people who contributed to the breakdown eventually attempt to bring the family back together, taking the story towards themes of realisation, reconciliation and correcting past mistakes.
The third story portrays the intense romance between Shanthanu, an orphaned artist, and Mayflower. Their relationship forms the emotional centre of this segment before the love story moves towards a tragic conclusion.
