The web series Dahaad is making headlines once again, especially with the recent release of Mammootty’s film Kalamkaval, which has garnered an enthusiastic response from audiences. Directed by Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi, known for their work on Talaash, Dahad consists of eight episodes, each running approximately fifty minutes. Similar to Kalankaval, the series features a unique twist where the identity of the villain is revealed early on, creating suspense around how the police will ultimately apprehend him. In Dahaad, Cyanide Mohanan takes on the role of Anand Swarnakar, a teacher at a girls’ college located in a village in Rajasthan. Mammootty, who returned to the big screen after a seven-month hiatus, has impressed fans with his portrayal of an anti-hero, showcasing his versatility as an actor.
