Balan – The Boy is getting ready for its television premiere on Zee Keralam. Following its OTT release on ZEE5, the Malayalam movie will be telecast on Zee Keralam on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 7:00 PM.
Zee Network acquired the satellite and streaming rights of Balan – The Boy, bringing the film to audiences through both ZEE5 and Zee Keralam. With the digital premiere already completed, the film is now set for its television premiere.

Produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Shylaja Desai Fenn under the banners of KVN Productions and Thespian Films, Balan – The Boy is directed by Chidambaram. The screenplay is written by Jithu Madhavan.
The film explores themes of identity, survival and resilience through the emotional journey of a mother and her son. Mystery and suspense are blended with emotional elements as their story unfolds.

The popular ZEE5 series Ayali is also coming to Zee Keralam for its television premiere.

Aasha Television and Streaming Rights With Zee Network
Zee Network has also acquired the television and streaming rights of the Malayalam movie Aasha, featuring Urvashi, Joju George, Aishwarya Lekshmi and Vijayaraghavan.
ZEE5 has secured the digital streaming rights, while Zee Keralam holds the television rights to the film. Aasha is currently running in theatres, with its television and OTT premiere dates to be announced later.
