Asianet announced auditions for its upcoming Malayalam reality show Wonder Kid Sakalakalavallabhan, inviting talented children from across Kerala to participate. The auditions were scheduled for 19 and 20 January 2019 at different centres across the state.

Auditions on 19 January 2019
The first day of the auditions covered Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Kannur and Palakkad.
Ernakulam was the only location in the announced schedule where auditions were available on both 19 and 20 January.
Auditions on 20 January 2019
The second day included audition centres in Ernakulam, Kollam, Kozhikode, Thrissur and Kottayam.
With audition centres spread across Kerala, Asianet provided children from different regions an opportunity to participate without travelling to a single central venue.
Malayalam Television Reality Shows
Wonder Kid Sakalakalavallabhan was announced during a period when Malayalam entertainment channels were expanding their reality-show lineups.
Mazhavil Manorama had also announced D5 Dance, while Top Singer on Flowers TV was among the prominent reality programs attracting television audiences during the period.
Asianet’s programming lineup also included shows and serials such as Kannante Radha and the devotional serial Sabarimala Swamy Ayyappan, which was launched on 14 January 2019.
