Mohanlal Wins Best Actor
Mohanlal received the Best Actor award for his performances in Lucifer and Ittymaani: Made in China.
Lucifer featured Mohanlal in the lead role and also marked Prithviraj Sukumaran’s directorial debut. The movie received another major honour at the ceremony when Prithviraj Sukumaran was selected as Best Director.
Mammootty was also honoured on the Asianet Film Awards stage during the event.
Parvathy Thiruvothu Wins Best Actress for Uyare
Parvathy Thiruvothu won the Best Actress award for Uyare. Her performance in the film was one of the major acting honours of the 22nd Asianet Film Awards.
Uyare also secured the Best Film award, giving the movie two prominent recognitions at the ceremony.
Suraj Venjaramoodu Wins Critics’ Choice Best Actor
Suraj Venjaramoodu received the Critics’ Choice Best Actor recognition for his performances in Finals, Vikruthi and Android Kunjappan Version 5.25.
Rajisha Vijayan was honoured as Best Character Actress for her performances in June, Finals and Stand Up.
Asif Ali Named Performer of the Year
Asif Ali received the Performer of the Year honour for his work across several films, including Vijay Superum Pournamiyum, Uyare, Under World and Kettyolaanu Ente Malakha.
Nivin Pauly received the Golden Star recognition for Love Action Drama, while Unni Mukundan was honoured as Youth Icon for Mamangam.
Bombay Jayashri received the Best Female Singer award for Mamangam.

Asianet continues its major entertainment programming in 2026 with Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8. Mohanlal returns as host of the latest edition of the popular Malayalam reality show.
The season has generated interest following its initial promo, which hints at changes to the format and the inclusion of commoners through a contestant selection process.
