Malayalam horror mystery thriller Amanushikam is releasing in theatres on September 25, 2026, promising a film experience built around fear, mystery, suspense and intrigue. Written and directed by Nitheesh K. Nair, the movie features Jomon Joshy in the lead role.
Jomon Joshy, familiar to audiences through films including Chronic Bachelor, is joined by a large ensemble cast. Amanushikam is produced under the banner of Namo Pictures, with Sudheesh Perumbilly handling the screenplay and dialogues.
The makers have also released the theatre list for the film’s opening, with screenings across several centres in Kerala.

Nitheesh K. Nair has written the story and directed the movie, while Sudheesh Perumbilly has written the screenplay and dialogues. The film is produced under the Namo Pictures banner.
Shanthi Bhooshan serves as line producer, with Satheesh Pappanamcode as executive producer. Binseer handles cinematography, while Rejan Raghu composes the music and Akhil Ponnappan writes the lyrics.
Ashish Shivan handles editing and Shanu Sajin is responsible for the background score. Sandeep Pattambi serves as chief associate director, with Nandu G. Nair as associate director and Achu Rajagopal as assistant director.
