I consider it a blessing to receive the first “Can Innocent Award 2025 – Best Comedian” award in the name of the legendary actor Innocent Etten.
He showed us that humor is often a “mask” of deep knowledge and long-term vision. We have seen him skillfully wearing that mask many times when he faced pains and difficulties in life.
Often when I don’t know what to do in a shot, I copy from the seniors of our talented industry, just like we go to the library and refer to books. I have also referred him many times.
Thank you, Suresh Etten, the team of Canchannel Media, the jury chairman Shri. Rajeev Kumar Sir and other members, for presenting the memories of Innocent Etten so clearly once again. May you be able to organize this award ceremony with even greater grandeur in the coming years.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Akhil, the director of Sarvam Maya, Nivin, who suggested me for the role of Roopa, and the entire team of Sarvam Maya. And a thousand thanks to my family who always supported me, the audience who accepted all my shortcomings, Vineet and Dileepettam who made my dream of cinema come true, and God who is the reason for all this.
I know that this award has not found its true ‘destination’, but for now, it is enough to consider it as an encouragement for someone who is sincerely searching for a destination.
