Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai, starring Nivin Pauly, Soori and Anjali in the lead roles, is set for its theatrical release on October 1, 2026. Written and directed by acclaimed Tamil filmmaker Ram, the film is getting a wide release across Kerala, with Wayfarer Films handling the Kerala distribution.
Produced by Suresh Kamatchi under the banner of V House Productions, Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai marks Nivin Pauly’s return to Tamil cinema after Richie. The film also brings director Ram and Nivin Pauly together for the first time.
Nivin Pauly’s Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai
The film combines elements of romance, fantasy, mystery, action, humour and emotion. Nivin Pauly plays an unusual character who has been living for more than 8,000 years without death, while Soori appears in another central role.
Even before its theatrical release, Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai attracted attention on the international film festival circuit. The movie premiered at the 53rd International Film Festival Rotterdam and was among the films selected for the VPRO Big Screen Award competition.
Along with Nivin Pauly, Soori and Anjali, the cast also includes Ravi Mariya and N. Azhagam Perumal in important roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music, while N. K. Ekambaram handles cinematography and Mathi V. S. is the editor.
Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai Kerala Release Centres
The movie is opening across Kerala on October 1. The announced Kerala theatre list covers centres from Thiruvananthapuram to Kasaragod, including major multiplexes and single-screen theatres.

Ram and Nivin Pauly Join Hands for the First Time
The collaboration between Ram and Nivin Pauly is one of the major attractions of Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai. The film also brings Nivin Pauly and Soori together in prominent roles, while Anjali plays the female lead.
The technical team includes Santhosh Dhayanidhi for additional music, Umesh J. Kumar for production design, Madhan Karky and Mathi Pugazhenthi for lyrics, Stunt Silva for action and Sandy Master for choreography.
With Wayfarer Films releasing the movie across Kerala, Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai will be in cinemas from October 1, 2026.
