Disney+ Hotstar is excited to announce the streaming of the Malayalam film, Valattyfrom November 7th. The film is a creative portrayal of a love story between two dogs, Tomy and Amalu, and challenges posed by their owners’ conflicting religious views.

Story
In “Valatty”, Tomy, a golden retriever owned by Roy, falls in love with his neighbour’s dog, Amalu, a cocker spaniel owned by a Brahmin family. Their relationship was blocked when the Brahmin family learned that Tomy was responsible for Amalu’s pregnancy. Eventually, both Tomy and Amalu get locked up in their houses by their owners. The story takes a turn when Tomy and Amalu decide to elope.
