The announcement was made by team’s co-owner Rajkumar Sethupathy, who emphasized that Unni’s deep passion for cricket and longstanding involvement with the Kerala Strikers made him the natural choice for this leadership role. Unni Mukundan has been a part of the team since inception and brings with him valuable experience and team spirit.

With a strong caption at the helm and a renewed lineup of seasoned players and debutants, Kerala Strikers are gearing up to give its fans an exciting season.
Kerala Strikers’ training camp is scheduled for mid October. Following the camp the final squad of players will be announced by the management.
Season 12 of the CCL is proposed to commence in November 2025. CCL brings together stars from eight major Indian film industries – Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Bengal, Punjab, and Bhojpuri cinema.
Kerala Strikers is one of the most popular and sought after team of the CCL. This multi language fans favourite reached the finals in 2014 and 2017 editions of the tournament. Kerala Strikers commands a strong fan base at national level and of Malayalees across the globe.
