Titans Movie Review and Story: Malayalam actors Jayasurya and Vinayakan reunite in Titans, a fantasy comedy thriller directed by Prince Joy, known for Anugraheethan Antony. Set against the vibrant backdrop of Fort Kochi, the film combines a robbery plot with mystery, humour and unexpected developments.
Now playing in theatres, Titans features Jayasurya as Antony Yakoosa and Vinayakan as Rejimon. The film’s promotional synopsis promises an unusual cinematic experience, blending elements of crime, fantasy and suspense.
Titans Movie Review – What Is the Story About?
The story of Titans revolves around Antony Yakoosa, played by Jayasurya, who plans one final robbery alongside a character named Anwar.
What initially appears to be a straightforward criminal operation takes an unexpected turn when Rejimon, a driver portrayed by Vinayakan, becomes involved in their journey.
Rejimon is no ordinary driver. His mysterious personality and the secrets surrounding him introduce uncertainty into Antony’s carefully planned mission.
As events unfold, the characters find themselves caught in increasingly complicated situations involving crime, suspense and fantasy.
The Fort Kochi setting provides a distinctive backdrop for this unusual narrative, which moves beyond the conventions of a typical robbery story.
The promotional storyline deliberately leaves several questions unanswered, particularly concerning Rejimon’s identity and the consequences of the attempted heist.
Jayasurya and Vinayakan Reunite in Titans
One of the major attractions of Titans is the reunion of Jayasurya and Vinayakan, two actors recognised for portraying distinctive characters in Malayalam cinema.
The actors have previously appeared together in films including Chathikkatha Chanthu, Iyobinte Pusthakam and the Aadu franchise.
In Titans, Jayasurya’s Antony Yakoosa and Vinayakan’s Rejimon occupy central positions in the storyline. Their contrasting characters and the mysteries surrounding their journey form the foundation of the film’s comedy-thriller premise.
The supporting cast includes Nihal Nizam, Baby Jean, Sunny Wayne, Indrans, Suresh Krishna and Manikandan R. Achari.

Comedy, Fantasy and Suspense – What to Expect from Titans
Rather than presenting a conventional crime thriller, Titans is promoted as a film combining several genres.
The attempted robbery establishes the central conflict, while the introduction of Rejimon adds mystery to the narrative. Fantasy elements are also part of the storyline, although the promotional material does not reveal their exact nature.
Director Prince Joy previously gained attention through Anugraheethan Antony. His latest project explores a different narrative setting, bringing together a crime-based premise and unconventional characters.
The screenplay is written by James Sebastian, with cinematography by Vishnu Sharma, editing by Shameer Muhammed and music composed by Don Vincent.
The combination of these elements gives Titans an interesting premise for viewers who enjoy Malayalam films featuring humour, mystery and unexpected story developments.
Titans Movie Review – Is It Worth Watching?
Based on its officially supplied storyline, Titans may appeal to audiences interested in fantasy thrillers, unconventional crime stories and the Jayasurya–Vinayakan combination.
The central mystery surrounding Rejimon, the planned robbery and the Fort Kochi setting are among the film’s main promotional highlights.
However, the effectiveness of the comedy, screenplay, performances and suspense cannot be determined from the promotional synopsis alone.
