AR Rahman Composed Thug Life Movie Sugar Baby Song Out
The second song from Kamal Haasan’s much-awaited film Thug Life, titled Sugar Baby, has been released. The lyrics are written by Shiva Anand and AR Rahman, and the music is composed by AR Rahman. The song Sugar Baby is sung by Alexandra Joy, Shubha, and Sarath Santhosh.
The trailer and the first song Jinkucha of Thug Life were already a hit on social media. Silambarasan, Joju George, Trisha, Abhirami, Aishwarya Lakshmi, Nassar, Ashok Selvan, Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Jishu Sengupta, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Sharaf, and Vaiyapuri are playing other characters in the film. The film is produced by Rajkamal Films International, Madras Talkies, Red Giant Movies, R Mahendran and Siva Ananth. Thug Life will hit the screens worldwide on June 5.
The film, which reunites Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam after thirty-seven years, stars Silambarasan, Joju George, Trisha, Abhirami, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Nasser, Ashok Selvan, Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Jishu Sengupta, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Sharaf and Vaiyapuri in lead roles. After Amaran’s successful Kerala distribution partnership, which was produced under the banner of Raj Kamal Films and achieved blockbuster success in theaters, Gokulam Gopalan is bringing Thug Life to Kerala for Gokulam Movies. Dream Big Films is the Kerala distribution partner of Thug Life. As part of the Kerala promotion of Thug Life, the stars and crew of Thug Life will participate in pre-release events to be held in Thiruvananthapuram on May 28. The Thug Life audio launch with a live performance by the AR Rahman team will be held at Sai Ram College, Chennai on May 24.
Along with Mani Ratnam, music director AR Rahman and editor Sreekar Prasad are also working in this film. Thug Life Cinematographer Ravi K Chandran, who has previously worked in Mani Ratnam’s films Kannathil Muthamittal and Ayudhya Ezhuth, is handling the camera for Thug Life. The action choreography is done by Anpariv Masters, who collaborated with Kamal for Vikram. Thug Life’s makeup artist Ranjith Ambadi, production designer Sharmishtha Roy, and costume designer Eka Lakhani are working on the film. PRO: Pratheesh Shekhar.
