The shooting of the film “Cosmic Samson“, starring young actor Sandeep Pradeep and produced by Sofia Paul under the banner of Weekend Blockbusters and Manuel Cruz Darwin under the banner of D Group, has been completed. The film, written and directed by Abhijit Joseph, who is known for the film “John Luther”, is reported to hit the theaters this year itself. Co-writer – Abhikersh Vasanth. Executive producer – Bino T Abraham. Weekend Blockbusters, owned by Sophia Paul, is a production company that has delivered many big hits including Minnal Murali, R.D. X, Munthiri Vallikal Thalirkumbol, Bangalore Days. “Cosmic Samson” is also the tenth film produced by them.
The film is expected to hit the theatres by mid-2026. Apart from Sandeep Pradeep, the other stars in the film are Mukesh, Miya George, Altaf Salim, Alphonse Putran, Anuraj OB and a few newcomers. This is also the film in which Sandeep Pradeep will be playing the lead role after the super hits Padakalam and Echo. After Minnal Murali, this film is also unique in that Hollywood action director Vlad Rimberg is making his debut in Malayalam. It is reported that the action scenes he is preparing will be the highlight of the film. The film will be released in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada languages.
