Leading Malayalam general entertainment channel Asianet bringing a new devotional serial to the viewers, Sabarimala Swamy Ayyappan is scheduled to start on 14th January 2019. Every monday to saturday at 9.00 P.M to 9.30 P.M is the Telecast time of the show. Sabarimala women entrance related issues may be the reason behind to launch this serial, asianet planning to utilize the time space. This issues helped malayalam Janam tv to second position in news channel ratings. Swami Ayyapan was one of the successful attempt from the channel, which aired on 20 November 2006, was one of the most popular show in that times. Karthikeyan and Murugan produced the serial under the banner of Merryland Studio.
