Mohanlal’s upcoming film L367 has been officially titled Operation Ganga. Produced by Gokulam Gopalan under the banner of Sree Gokulam Movies, the mega-budget project is written and directed by Vishnu Mohan. The film is being mounted on a massive canvas with an extensive shooting schedule planned across India and several international locations.
Operation Ganga is based against the backdrop of the historic rescue mission undertaken by India during the Ukraine–Russia war. Shooting has already commenced in Georgia, while Mohanlal is expected to join the film shortly.

What Is Mohanlal’s Operation Ganga About?
The title takes its name from Operation Ganga, the historic rescue mission carried out by India against the backdrop of the Ukraine–Russia war.
The Mohanlal film is being developed around this backdrop, giving the project a large-scale international setting. The makers are planning an extensive 180-day shooting schedule across Poland, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Delhi, Dehradun and Kochi.
Production has already begun in Georgia, and Mohanlal will soon join the shoot.

Operation Ganga brings Mohanlal and writer-director Vishnu Mohan together for the project originally announced as L367.
Gokulam Gopalan is producing the film under Sree Gokulam Movies, with Baiju Gopalan and V. C. Praveen as co-producers and Krishnamoorthy serving as executive producer.
The official title announcement had been keenly awaited following the initial announcement of L367.
Arjun Rampal, Adil Hussain and Bhagyashri Borse Join Mohanlal
The film brings together performers from different industries alongside Mohanlal.
Arjun Rampal, Adil Hussain, Bhagyashri Borse and Parthiban are among the prominent names confirmed as part of the cast.
The production will also feature artists and technicians from outside India as well as Bollywood, matching the international scale planned for the film.
Operation Ganga Brings Together a Major Technical Team
The technical lineup is another major highlight of Operation Ganga.
Shashwat Sachdev is composing the music. The announcement highlights his association with Dhurandhar before joining the Mohanlal project.
Cinematographer Miroslaw Kuba Brozek, known for his work on Pushpa 1 and Pushpa 2, will handle the camera.
Action director SeaYoung Oh, associated with Dhurandhar and Kill, is handling the action sequences.
Production designer Rajeevan, whose credits mentioned by the makers include GOAT, Meiyazhagan, Amaran and Kathanar, is also part of the project.

Shameer Muhammed handles editing, while Bishwadeep Chatterjee is the sound designer. His previous credits highlighted with the announcement include Dhurandhar, Uri, 3 Idiots and Padmaavat.
Kantara VFX supervisor K. V. Sanjith is handling VFX supervision.
Squadron Leader Verlin Panwar, who has worked as a military advisor on projects including Safed Sagar, Border 2 and Fighter, joins Operation Ganga as military advisor.
The remaining key crew includes Melwy J for costume design, Ronex Xavier for makeup and Rinny Divakar as production controller.
Vipin Kumar serves as promotion consultant, while Sabari and Vazhoor Jose handle PRO duties.

With its international locations, lengthy shooting schedule, large cast and technical team, Operation Ganga is being mounted as one of the biggest productions from Sree Gokulam Movies.
The banner also has several other major projects in different stages of production, including Ottakkomban starring Suresh Gopi, Kathanar starring Jayasurya and Killer by S. J. Suryah.
For now, filming of Operation Ganga has commenced in Georgia, with Mohanlal set to join the production shortly.
