The release date of the film ‘Sarkeet’ directed by Tamar and starring Asif Ali in the lead has been announced. ‘Sarkeet’ will hit theaters worldwide on May 8. Divya Prabha is playing the female lead in This Movie , directed by Tamar after the film ‘Aayirathonnu Nunakal‘, which was praised by the audience and critics alike. Tamar has also written the film. After the blockbuster films Kishkindha Kaandam and Rekha Chitram, the film starring Asif Ali in the lead is a highly anticipated film.

‘Sarkeet’, which was shot entirely in the Gulf countries, was completed in 40 days in the UAE, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. Asif Ali, who recently achieved super success with thriller films, is coming up with a feel-good family drama through Sarkeet. Apart from Asif Ali and Divya Prabha, Deepak Parambol, child actor Orhan, Ramya Suresh, Prashanth Alexander, Swathidas Prabhu, Gopan Atatt and Sins Shaan play the other main characters in the film. Tamar’s debut film, which received tremendous audience and critical acclaim, was streamed directly on Sony Live as an OTT release. It was also screened at the International Film Festival of Finland (IFFK).
