Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Khalifa has entered the ₹50 crore club at the worldwide box office. The makers have officially announced that the Vysakh-directed film has crossed ₹50 crore in worldwide gross collections, marking a major milestone in its theatrical run.

Released during the Onam season, Khalifa continued to attract audiences even after the holiday period. The film registered a strong performance at the Kerala box office during the Onam vacation, while markets outside Kerala and overseas also contributed to its worldwide collection.

The film arrived in cinemas as an Onam release and performed strongly during the holiday period. Its theatrical run has continued beyond the Onam vacation, with the film drawing audiences in Kerala.

Khalifa has also performed well outside Kerala and in overseas markets, helping the movie reach the ₹50 crore worldwide milestone.

Prithviraj Sukumaran as Aamir Ali

Prithviraj Sukumaran plays the central character Aamir Ali in Khalifa. His performance, combining action, mass moments and emotional sequences, is one of the major highlights of the film.

The movie brings together the combination of Prithviraj Sukumaran, director Vysakh and writer Jinu Abraham.

Jinu Abraham and Suraj Kumar produced Khalifa under the banner of Jinu Innovation, with Sijo Sebastian and Sreelal Shoolapani serving as co-producers.

Mohanlal and Tovino Thomas in Guest Roles

Khalifa also features two prominent guest appearances.

Mohanlal appears as Mambarakkal Ahmed Ali, while Tovino Thomas appears as Ivor Alexander. Their presence adds to the major star lineup of the film.

The supporting cast includes Neil Nitin Mukesh, Malvika Sharma, Indrans, Renji Panicker, Mohini, Sanju Sivram, Shivajith, Sudeep, Shammi Thilakan, Vaishnavi, Rushin, Anand Manmadhan and Don Michael.

Khalifa Part 2 Announced With Mohanlal

The makers have already announced a second part of Khalifa.

After appearing in a guest role as Mambarakkal Ahmed Ali in the first film, Mohanlal will play the lead role in Khalifa Part 2.

Jomon T John handled the cinematography, while Jakes Bejoy composed the music and Chaman Chacko handled the editing.

Mohandas is the production designer, while the action sequences were handled by Yannick Ben, Phoenix Prabhu and Chetan D’Souza. Suresh Divakar served as co-director and Shine Varghese as executive producer.

Mashar Hamsa handled costumes, Viswanath Aravind handled art direction and Amal Chandran was responsible for makeup. Sync Cinema handled sound design, with additional music by Jabir Sulaim and final mixing by M R Rajakrishnan.

Reni Divakar and Vinosh Kaimal served as production controllers, Sreek Warrier handled colour grading, and the poster design was by Aesthetic Kunjamma.

With Khalifa crossing ₹50 crore worldwide and continuing its theatrical journey, all eyes are now on the film’s OTT release.
