The much-awaited film Kannappa, featuring Vishnu Manchu in the lead role and starring Mohanlal, Prabhas, and Akshay Kumar, is gearing up for a world wide release. In exciting news for the Kerala audience, it has been officially announced that the film’s trailer will be launched with a grand event in Kerala.
The event will take place at 5:00 PM on June 14, 2025, at Le Meridien Hotel, Kochi. The occasion will be graced by a star-studded lineup including Mohanlal, Vishnu Manchu, Mohan babu, Mukesh Rishi and other actors from the film, along with crew members and special invitees from the Malayalam film industry. The film’s Kerala distribution is being handled by Aashirvad Cinemas.
Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, Kannappa will hit theatres worldwide on June 27, 2025. Mohanlal plays the role of Kiratha, while Prabhas will be seen as Rudra. This film marks the debut film of Director Mukesh Kumar Singh.
Produced under the banners of 24 Frames Factory and AVA Entertainments, owned by Mohan Babu, the film also features an impressive ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Prabhas Preity Mukundan, Kajal Aggarwal, Sarath Kumar, Mohan Babu, Arpit Ranka and Madhubala.
