Kanimangalam Kovilakam Movie Release Date and Actors Name
The popular Malayalam web series “Kanimangalam Kovilakam” is coming to the big screen as a movie amidst much anticipation. Written and directed by director Rajesh Mohan, who is known for his work in Theepori Benny, the film will hit the theatres in January 2026.
While there have been many superhit YouTube web series in Malayalam that have become popular, the first expectation was that it would be made into a movie when the “Karikku” team announced it. But even before that, another successful web series is being made into a movie with a big star cast. All the major parts of the film were shot in Kollam.
The film features prominent influencers in Malayalam. The film’s main attraction is its star-studded cast, including Mohammed Rafi, Ajmal Khan, Abhi Krish, Tony K Jose, Anoop Mudiyan, Vikhnesh, Sandra Chandy, Amrutha Ammous, Hifras, Sijo Sajan, Rishad NK, Gopu Nair, Ashwanth Anilkumar, and Dhanil Sivaram. Apart from them, film stars Sminu Sijo, Sarath Sabha, etc. are also in the cast. This film, set on a college-hostel theme, will be enjoyable for young audiences and families alike.
The film is produced by Harris Moidutty, Rajesh Mohan, Jishnu Shankar and Sridhar Cheny under the banners Clapboard Films and British Cinemas. The cinematography of the film is done by Ajay Francis George. The music is directed by Don Vincent, editing by Premsai, production design by Arun Venjaramood, art direction by Anoop Vijayakumar, costume design by Sunil George, and choreography by Sherif Master.
