Director Krishand’s new film, Masthishka Maranam; The video of the song “Komala Thamara” from Simon’s Memories is out. Earlier, the lyrical video of this song was released and received great attention. The song, which features actress Rajisha Vijayan dancing for the first time, is now being celebrated by the audience on social media.
The film is being produced by Vinayaka Ajith under the banner of Ajith Vinayaka Films. The full title of the film is “Masthishka Maranam- A Frankenbiting of Simon’s Memories”. After the critically and critically acclaimed films Aavasavyuham and Purusha Pretham, this film, written and directed by Krishand, is also a science fiction film in which Ajith Vinayaka Films and Krishand Films come together after the film ‘Gaganachari’. It is touted to be a science fiction investigation comedy film set in the year 2046.
Actor Sanju Sivaram also joins Rajisha in the song “Komala Thamara”. The song, composed by Varkey, was written by Anil Lal and Andre. Malayalam and Tamil lyrics and rap are part of the song. The song was sung by Pranavam Sasi. Anil Lal and Andre sang the Malayalam and Tamil raps of the song respectively. The teaser of the film was also released earlier. The teaser showed that the film has adopted a presentation style full of science fiction madness in the local background. It is also clear from the teaser that the film, which maintains a futuristic neo-noir mood, has a visual language that is on par with international films. The teaser indicates that the film has a very different making style and storytelling method.
The film has been made in a way that gives great importance to VFX. The teaser of the film has already been released in theaters. The film is set in the backdrop of the city of Kochi in 2046 (Neo Kochi). It is reported that the film will have a different storyline like that of films like Loka and Blade Runner, and the shooting of the second part will begin in July this year.
