Georgekutty Returns to Asianet This Onam
Drishyam 3 marks the return of Mohanlal as Georgekutty, one of the most recognised characters in contemporary Malayalam cinema. Asianet has selected Thiruvonam, 26 August, for the television premiere of the film.
Mohanlal leads the cast alongside Meena, Siddique, Asha Sharath, Murali Gopy, Ansiba Hassan and Esther Anil.
Jeethu Joseph has written and directed Drishyam 3, while Antony Perumbavoor is the producer. The film is presented by Dr. Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios and Panorama Studios.
Dr. Emil Vincent and Dr. Anisha Antony are the executive producers. Satheesh Kurup handles cinematography, Vinayak VS is the editor and Anil Johnson has composed the music. Arfaz Ayub and Sudheesh Ramachandran are the chief associate directors.
Asianet Onam 2026 Movie Premieres
Kerala TV had earlier updated about the Asianet Onam 2026 premiere lineup and special programmes. Along with Drishyam 3, the festive movie lineup includes Vaazha II: Biopic of a Billion Bros, Bharathanatyam 2: Mohiniyattam and Mollywood Times.
Asianet’s Onam celebrations also include special programmes such as Onaruchimelam, Onakalavara and the Bigg Boss Agnipareeksha Malayalam Onam Special.
Prathichaya Premier on 16 August
Asianet will premiere Prathichaya on Sunday, 16 August at 4:00 PM. Written and directed by Unnikrishnan B, the film features Nivin Pauly in the title role.
Balachandra Menon, Sharaf U Dheen, Sabitha Anand, Ann Augustine and Harisree Ashokan are also part of the cast.
Mollywood Times Premier on 23 August
Mollywood Times will premiere on Asianet on Sunday, 23 August 2026 at 3:30 PM.
Directed by Abhinav Sunder Nayak and written by Ramu Sunil, the film features Naslen, Sharaf U Dheen, Sreejith Shine, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Sangeeth Prathap, Roshan Shanavas, Arnav Vineeth, Althaf Salim, Gopika Ramesh, Binu Pappu, Prasanth Alexander, Meera Nair, Jagadish and Balachandran Chullikkad.
