The campaign provided aspiring commoner contestants with a direct route to submit their profiles for consideration for the Mohanlal-hosted reality show.

Those interested in entering the Bigg Boss house could visit a participating MyG Future showroom, record a three-minute introduction video at the specially arranged MyG Bigg Entry booth and submit the required details online.

The MyG Bigg Entry campaign was designed to discover fresh faces from the public and give them an opportunity to participate in Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7.

Applicants could record a three-minute introduction video explaining themselves and their interest in participating in the show. The video file was limited to 50 MB and had to be submitted through the dedicated Season 7 registration portal.

The initiative added an interesting commoner element to Season 7 by providing people outside the regular entertainment and celebrity space an opportunity to seek entry into the Bigg Boss house.

Applicants first had to visit the nearest MyG Future showroom and record their three-minute introduction video at the MyG Bigg Entry booth.

The registration portal then required applicants to enter their name and email address, verify their mobile number using an OTP and provide a brief comment explaining their passion and what motivated them to apply for the Bigg Boss Season 7 auditions.

The recorded video could then be uploaded in .mp4 or .mov format. After completing the required fields and submitting the application, applicants had to wait for the confirmation message displayed in the browser.

The last date to submit entries for the MyG Bigg Entry campaign was July 10, 2025.

Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7 Launch and Telecast Time

Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7 launched on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at 7:00 PM on Asianet, with Mohanlal welcoming the participants to the new Bigg Boss house.

The regular episodes were scheduled Monday to Friday at 9:30 PM, while the Saturday and Sunday episodes aired at 9:00 PM.

Season 7 carried the tagline “Ezhinte Pani”, highlighting the seventh edition of the Malayalam reality show.

Another major change was the Bigg Boss house itself. For the first time, the Malayalam edition was filmed in Asianet’s own custom-built Bigg Boss house, described as the most spacious and luxurious house created for the Malayalam edition at that point.

Update on the New Season of Bigg Boss Malayalam

Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8 launches on September 6, 2026, at 7:00 PM on Asianet and JioHotstar with Mohanlal returning as host. The new season expands the commoner opportunity through Bigg Boss Agnipareeksha Malayalam, with selected commoners progressing towards the main Season 8 journey.

JioHotstar also brings 24×7 Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8 live streaming, alongside the regular episodes and online voting for the new season.
