The multi-starrer film “Athiradi” starring Tovino, Basil and Vineeth Sreenivasan in the lead roles is being made as a full-length campus film. The schedule, which will last for 80 days, has begun at Ernakulam FISAT College. The film is being directed by debutant Arun Anirudhan. The title teaser of the film was released the other day and received a huge response from the audience.

The teaser gave an indication that Athiradi is going to be a mass action entertainer that will shake up the theaters. This title teaser was released in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada languages, reminiscent of the title announcement teasers of big South Indian films. The teaser is also receiving a good response in other languages.

Produced by Basil Joseph under the banner of Basil Joseph Entertainments and Doctor Ananthu S under the banner of Doctor Ananthu Entertainments, the film is co-produced by director and cinematographer Sameer Thahir and actor Tovino Thomas. This film is also unique in that it brings together Tovino Thomas, Basil Joseph, Sameer Thahir and Arun Anirudhan after Minnal Murali.

The film, scripted by Paulson Skaria and Arun Anirudhan, is also the directorial debut of Arun, one of the scriptwriters of “Minnal Murali” directed by Basil Joseph. The main highlight of ‘Athiradi’ is that Basil Joseph, Tovino Thomas and Vineeth Sreenivasan are coming together for the first time in a film. Vishnu Vijay is composing the music for this film.
