Madhu, KG Pillai, Janardhanan, KR Vijaya, Raghavan, Balachandra menon, KPAC lalitha, Poojappura Ravi, TP Madhavan, Sreelatha namboothiri honored through guru vandhanam. Jagathi sreekumar, sheela, kaviyoor ponnamma , kanya bharathi etc can’t attend the guru vanadhanam. Tamil actor suriya was the chief guest of the show, he enjoyed performance of malayalam stars. Vande mukunda hare song by Innocent, dance performance by various artists another highlight of the show. Udaya studio skit was leaded by jayaram and siddique. Comedy skit by Mammootty, Mohanlal and Dulquar Salmaan was one of the main attractions of the show.
