Amrita TV Carries On Its Winning Streak At The State Television Awards 2012

In the State Televsion Awards announced last week, Amrita TV collected two more laurels to swell its total count of accolades to 58, the highest by any Satellite Television Channel within just 7 years.

In the fiction category, Amrita TV staved off stiff challenge from other serials to walk off with the Best Actress Award for Sreelekshmi, for her powerful performance in the Jnanpith winning , landmark novel “Artha Chandrante Rathri“.

Natakame Ulakam“, Amrita TV’s flagship show that initiated the audience to ‘visualised ‘ political satire and exposed the follies and vices of politicians through the use of tongue-in-cheek irony and sarcasm took the prize in the Best Current Affairs Programme section.

Over the years since its launch in 2005, Amrita TV has been steadily scooping the cream at every Awards nite, winning in every genre of programme such as serials, tele film , reality shows, current affairs etc as well as in different aspects of TV production , direction, scripting, editing, videography, dubbing, compeering and so on .Amrita TV’s well stacked awards mantelpiece is a commentary on the quality of its programmes and the caliber of its production team. With the latest recognition, Amrita TV has consolidated its position at the top of the awards table, a position it has been holding since its inception.
