South India’s most popular musical reality Idea Star Singer kicked off its fifth season this week in the presence of cine actress Meera Jasmine , Jury members including music composer Sharreth and playback singers K. S. Chithra , M.G.Sreekumar, pop singer Usha Uthup and the head honchos of Asianet. Thirty-nine contestants from across Kerala have been shortlisted for this year’s competition. Apart from the jury members, prominent personalities from film industry will attend as celebrity guest. The audition was conducted in all major cities in Kerala and abroad.
Asianet is all set to telecast “ Idea Star Singer Season 5 ” on every Monday to Friday, starting from 2nd August 2010 from 8.00 PM to 9.30PM.
