Using cutting-edge technology, the natural sound waves emitted by flowers such as Thumba, Thechi, Chembarathi, and Shankupushpam have been transformed into music, giving life to a unique and soulful composition. The initiative beautifully recalls the nostalgic Onam tradition of making Pookkalam with flowers gathered from one’s own backyard.

Traditionally, every flower chosen for Pookkalam had a specific cultural, spiritual, seasonal, or scientific significance. Over time, much of this ancestral knowledge has faded, and Pooppattu seeks to revive that heritage.
