The global release date of the pan-Indian film ‘Peddi’ starring Telugu superstar Ram Charan in the lead role has been announced. The film will hit the theatres globally on April 30, 2026. The film, which was earlier scheduled to release in the last week of March 2026, has been shifted to the new date. The film, directed by National Award winner Buchi Babu Sana, is being produced by Venkata Sathish Kilaru under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas. This big-budget film is being presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings. Janhvi Kapoor is playing the female lead in the film.

Recently, the character poster of actor Jagapathi Babu, who is playing another crucial role in the film, was released. Jagapathi Babu plays a character named Appalasuri in the film Peddi. Kannada superstar Sivaraj Kumar is also playing a crucial role in the film. This is also the first time that the Ram Charan-Shivraj Kumar team is coming together for a film. It was reported that a huge fight scene in the film was shot in Hyderabad under the supervision of Bollywood fight director Shyam Kaushal. Ram Charan and Shivraj Kumar were part of this fight scene.
