Asianet to Finish 4 Serials, Ishtam Mathram, Snehakkoottu , Mounaragam and Teacheramma

Asianet, a prominent Malayalam general entertainment channel, recently announced the conclusion of four popular serials: Ishtam Mathram, Snehakkoottu, Mounaragam, and Teacheramma. In a social media update, the channel revealed that these shows have reached their climactic moments and will soon be replaced by a new serial titled “Ivar Vivahitharayal,” which stars Nikhil S Nair and Malavika Wales in leading roles. This shift marks a significant change in the channel’s programming lineup, as it bids farewell to some of its long-running and beloved series.

Ishtam Mathram, which airs Monday to Friday at 2 PM, has captivated audiences with its engaging storyline and strong performances by Rayjan Rajan and Mridula Vijai. As an official remake of the popular show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, it has successfully crossed over 460 episodes, making it a staple in the afternoon viewing slot. Meanwhile, Snehakkoottu, scheduled for 2:30 PM on the same days, is nearing its milestone of 500 episodes. Featuring a talented ensemble cast including Rohit Menon, Krishna Kumar, and Keerthi Gopinath, this serial has resonated with viewers, and its impending conclusion will pave the way for new narratives.

Mounaragam, which has been a fixture on the channel, airs Monday to Saturday at 6 PM and is recognized as one of the longest-running serials in Malayalam television history. Aishwarya Ramsai shines in her role as Kalyani Kiran, supported by a skilled cast that includes Naleef Gea and Pratheeksha G Pradeep. Lastly, Teacheramma, airing at 10:30 PM from Monday to Friday, has successfully completed over 300 episodes. Sreelakshmi’s portrayal of Saraswathi/Lakshmi, a devoted primary school teacher, has been particularly well-received, with Poornima Anand and Aleena Sajan adding depth to the storyline.
