The much-awaited Asianet Television Awards 2026 will celebrate excellence in Malayalam television with a special focus on women empowerment this year. The grand event is themed “She is the Colour”, celebrating the strength, resilience, and achievements of women who inspire society.

As part of this meaningful theme, the ceremony honored several remarkable women personalities, including legendary playback singer Vimala Varma, first Malayalam playback singer. The awards also paid tribute to Padmasree winners Devaki Amma and Vimala Menon, recognizing their outstanding contributions. Actress Shweta Menon, the President of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists, and National Award-winning actress Surabhi Lakshmi were also felicitated during the ceremony.

The event was also attended by Kishan Kumar, Executive Vice President – Malayalam , JioStar.
