The serial revolves around the endearing relationship between Muthassi (Played by Actress KR Vijaya) , a devout grandmother, and her granddaughter Unnimol, both ardent devotees of Lord Ayyappan. Unnimol, an orphan, has been under the care of Muthassi since infancy, and together they sustain themselves by selling vegetables from their garden.

Unnimol faces societal rejection and ridicule due to her unfortunate circumstances, labeled by her relatives, neighbors, and classmates as a bearer of ill fate. However, both Unnimol and Muthassi hold steadfast to their belief that Lord Ayyappan will guide them through life’s challenges.
