In connection with the auspicious Makaravilakku festival, Asianet Malikkappuram is offering free KSRTC bus services for pilgrims traveling to Sabarimala. This special service will run from January 5 to 15, 2024, aiming to provide a comfortable and hassle-free journey for devotees.

The flag-off ceremony took place on January 5 at 9 AM at the Thampanoor KSRTC Bus Stand in Thiruvananthapuram. The event was inaugurated by KSRTC Chairman & Managing Director P. S. Pramoj Shankar and Eithal Evana Sherin, famed for her role in the popular serial Malikkappuram. Other notable attendees included Director (PR) B. S. Praveen Kumar and Marketing Manager Prasanth from Asianet Channel.

Service Details

The free KSRTC bus service will operate as follows:

  • Departure: From Thampanoor, Thiruvananthapuram to Pamba at 9 AM.
  • Return Trip: From Pamba back to Thampanoor at 3 PM.
    Pilgrims can book this free service through the KSRTC website, making their pilgrimage more convenient and stress-free.
