Onam 2018 will be the launch date for zee tv malayalam entertainment channel, earlier we have posted that they are planning to launch during vishu. Zee network have no hurry, planning a grand launch for their first malayalam language television channel. Zee tv setup a team for the channel and they are working hard to start the channel as soon as possible. they have purchased satellite rights of some latest malayalam flicks, but unfortunately some changes happens with aadu 2 rights. there is no changes with other films like divanjimoola grand pix, hey jude and daivame kathozham kekumar aakanam etc.

Star network’s malayalam channel Asianet is the industry leader. They are far away from others, sun network’s surya tv now at second positions. flowers tv, mazhavil manorama are at 3rd and 4th places respectively.

ZEE5 is the latest offering from zee group

, it’s the digital platform for watching zee network channel shows online. zee5 currently added a segment for malayalam, some channels getting through the same.
