The fifth season of the South India’s most popular musical reality Idea Star Singer to find the most talented singer begins this Monday ( August 2nd , 2010) at 8PM.
The new season inaugurated by jury members – music director Sarath, play back singers K.S.Chithra , M.G.Sreekumar & Pop Singer Usha Uthup in the presence of actress Bhama, who heralded the occasion by stumbling the thampuru. This edition will have thirty-nine contestants from across Kerala vying for the top spot. The audition was conducted in all major cities in Kerala and abroad.
Apart from the jury members, prominent personalities from film industry will attend as celebrity guest.
The title winner will receive villa worth Rs. 1 Core.
Asianet is all set to telecast “ Idea Star Singer Season 5 ” on every Monday to Friday, starting from 2nd August 2010 from 8.00 PM to 9.30PM.

Irrespective of how the judges may interact with the contestants(teasing/ragging etc), when it comes to judging and awarding marks i believe they are very professional and unbiased. The collective wisdom and judgement of all 4 judges cannot be far from truth.So in the process we may see some of our favourite contestants being eliminated. But selection depends on a lot of genuine,approved and valid rules (and luck!)all of which as viewers we may not be aware of.The finer musical details we may not understand otherwise we would also be as accomplished as the judges .
Season 5 seems to be having a lot of trained and professional singers. So it seems it is going to be a very tough competition and the inexperienced singers may have an even tougher time.Wish them all the best.

There is a request is that the in the final selection the SMS vote changing good contestant to back. most of the people voting depending upon caste and religion. For last all Finals I watched like that tedency. So don’t give importance for the SMS in the final stage. Take a good decision about this and select the talented contest.This is not a Sypathatic Reality show. Find Talent contestants and let them get the benefit.
