Idea Star Singer Season 4
Idea Star Singer (ISS) is the most popular Malayalam music reality-television competition, broadcast on the Malayalam TV channel, Asianet with Idea Cellular Limited. The show, being aired at 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m (IST), on Monday to Friday is a hunt for a talented singer in Kerala from the age group of 15-30 years, who can capture the hearts of millions with the unique combination of singing and entertainment.
Idea Star Singer returns for its fourth series in 2009. Auditions were held in April 2009 in Trivandrum and Cochin. The grand prize for this series will be a Rs 1 crore villa from Travancore Builders After the thumping success of Idea Star Singer 2008, the curtain was raised for its successor, Idea Star Singer 2009. Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada actress navya nair inaugurated the Season 4 on May 4, 2009.
2009 has seen a change in the judges. The judging panel consist the beautiful playback singer, K S Chitra, playback singer M G Sreekumar and Music Director Sharath . As earlier, season 4 is also anchored by Ranjini Haridas.

Renjini Haridas is indeed a good anchor. I find her to be compassionate and as a person seems to be good enough. She is popular among the contestants as well as the audience. From the various comments also I can see her popularity deep rooted. But the manglish she speaks is indigestible to me.
